Biography

Dr. Michael Alano graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the prestigious Loma Linda University and went on to obtain his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Alano has won many accolades and awards over time, but his favorite was being voted one of "America's Best Dentist". Dr. Alano spends hundreds of hours a year continuing his education and training. He is affiliated with numerous organizations and advanced study clubs that focus on Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction, Sleep Disorders and Orthopedic Orthodontics. He is currently a member of the Academy of Craniofacial Pain, where he is fellow eligible and has completed an advanced residency at the Institute of TMJ and Sleep Studies. He is certified in a wide range of techniques used to diagnose and successfully treat TMJ symptoms and problems. In his off time, Dr. Alano enjoys spending time with his family at the beach, bicycling, playing basketball or just a quiet evening at home. Dr. Alano is a member of his church's outreach and music ministry (yeah, he's in the band).
